Mumbai – Pune expressway was made by MSRDC (Maharashtra state road development Corporation). It became fully operational in 2002. It is NOT a part of NHAI.

Withdrawing the previous speed limit of 90km/hr, now Vehicles can run at the speed of 120kms/hr from July 2019.
