How important is the Body’s immune system?
Our immune system is essential for our survival. Without an immune system, our bodies would be open to attack from bacteria, viruses, parasites, and more. It is our immune system that keeps us healthy as we drift through a sea of pathogens.

How does the immune system respond to coronavirus attack?
More than 85lakh people have been affected globally by a novel coronavirus and more than 4.5 lakh have lost their lives to the disease.
The virus affects people of all age groups however, people with low immunity have a lower risk of surviving the attack of the virus.
Once coronavirus enters our body it causes inflammation of the respiratory tract and lungs. The body’s immunity system guards up to fight the virus. If the body’s immunity system isn’t strong the degree of inflammation and fluid build-up in the body increases leading to respiratory disorder and lung damage.

Boosting immunity is the only way to survive the attack of virus
Coronavirus isn’t the killer but the response of our immune system to the attack of the virus is.  At this time it is detrimental to take care of our health, boost immunity with yoga and exercise, healthy food, and proper sleep habits.

This international yoga day, we will be connecting various yogis who believe in the healing power of yoga, to increase awareness about strong immunity and way to achieve it with yoga practice. 
This yoga day I believe everybody will try to invoke a yogi in them and indulge in yoga practice, my request to them is to make it part of their daily routine and not a single day event.
